Turkish President Recep Tayyib Erdogan has criticized Arab countries that support president’s Trump’s Deal of the Century. Erdogan on Friday called the Arab countries’ support for the deal “treason against Jerusalem, their own people, and against humanity.”
“Some Arab countries that support such a plan commit treason against Jerusalem, as well as against their own people and more importantly against all humanity,” he proclaimed.
Erdogan strongly rounded on the Arab countries for backing the deal calling it a “treacherous step” that these countries should be ashamed of because it might just be as hard for them to give account of such treasonable act against a people.
“Shame on you! Shame on you! How will those hands that applaud the plan give account of this treacherous step?” Erdogan asked, referring to the countries as “those hands”.
Saudi Arabia particularly is at the center of the hit as president Erdogan criticizes it saying “Saudi Arabia in particular, you are silent. When will you break your silence?”
Bahrain, Jordan, and United Arab Emirate are other Arab nations that received Erdogan’s strong words calling them the “same” for being supportive of a deal that does not recognize Palestinians right.
“You look at Amman, Bahrain and Abu Dhabi are the same.” Erdogan added.
President Toyyib Erdogan condemned the Trump’s peace plan between Israel and Palestine. The deal which President Trump released on Tuesday got the backing of many Arab nations including Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirate among others.
