Andrei Arlovski, Former UFC heavyweight champion, has challenged Mike Tyson to a fight, though his challenge has a condition which is to have one round of boxing and one round of MMA with the “Iron Man”.

Since Mike announced his possible return to the ring, he has been challenged by Shannon Briggs, old rival, Evander Holyfield and a host of others.

Belarusian Arlovski who is the recent challenger to Mike Tyson is keen to take up a fight with the man he called his childhood hero.

“Tyson is a legend. His poster hung in my room,” Arlovski said.

“I’m not ready for a full fight by the rules of boxing against him. If one round is boxing and one round is MMA, then it is possible,” he added.

Arlovski, 41, had had 20 year MMA career experience and was the UFC’s heavyweight champion back in 2005. Although he lost five fight between 2016 and 2017 to fighters like Stipe Miocic, Alistair Overeem and Francis Ngannou, he still remains a very active UFC combatant with his recent over-a-week victory against Philipe Lins in Octagon at the UFC’s Fight Night event in Florida.

Arlovski also disclosed how he had wished to fight Wladimir Klitschko before he suffered defeat in the hand of Fedor Emelianenko which he said ruined hi plan to have the fight.

“There was an idea to hold ten fights and then fight with Klitschko,” Arlovski said.
“Then I had health problems. We paused the idea, but if there is any specific proposal, I will consider it,” he added.
