OIC congratulates Muslims on Eid celebration

Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Secretary has extended his felicitation to Muslims around the world wishing them longevity and a blessed Eid celebration.

Al-Othaimeen began by extending felicitation to the Custodian of the two holy mosques, King Salman bn Abdilaziz, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Chair of the Islamic Summit.

He also congratulated Crown Prince, Mohammad bin Salman on the occasion of Eid wishing them a blessed and prosperous celebration.

Al-Othaimeen similarly sent his congratulatory message to prominent members of OIC such as kings, the excellencies and other members.

“I also offer to their Majesties, Excellence, and Highness, the heads of states of our countries in Islamic worlds in the Organization of Islamic cooperation sincere felicitation on this special occasion of eid,” he said.

He however acknowledged the tough circumstance the Eid is being celebrated this time in different parts of the world as a result of covid-19 pandemic.

He therefore prayed that Allah lift the pandemic and enrich the knowledge and struggle of health professional and specialist to find vaccines for the pandemic as soon as possible.

“I pray to almighty Allah in these blessed days to lift the unfortunate condition from the Ummah,” he prayed.

“May almighty Allah help the scientists and specialists to discover a cure or vaccine for this epidemic from specialist scientists in the Islamic world to contribute to relieving all mankind from this suffering,’ he added.
