Jesus is believed by Muslims

Muslim scholar, Abdu Karim has told Muslim youths in Democratic republic of Congo capital Kinshasha that the belief in Jesus and all other messengers of God is required in Islam.
He said that according to scripts, the name Isa is an Arabic version of Jesus and in Islam he is considered to be a Messiah who was sent by God to guide the children of Isreal with a new scripture called illium.
He said,’Islam honors Jesus, whom they refer to as Isa just like it does to all prophets. All prophets were sent to mankind for a purpose. By the way Isa or Jesus as he is referred to by Christians is one of the prophets who foretold the coming of Prophet Muhammad.’
Karim emphasized that Muslims do not believe that Jesus is a son of God. He said they also do not believe that he died on the cross.
He said,’Unlike Christians,we Muslims do no believe that Jesus is the son of God who came to earth in form of a human being to die for followers sins. No we do not agree on that .’
He said,’ Muslims regard Jesus as a prophet and that is all and they do not believe that he chose to die on the cross or that he died on
it. After fulfilling his mission on earth, God took him unto himself.’
