Welcome To America Host African Health Care & Immigration Fair in Harlem on Saturday
This Saturday, May 24, Welcome To America, an organization helping “newly arrived African immigrants by facilitating direct access to the readily available resources in America,” will be hosting a free African Community Health Care and Immigration Fair in Harlem.
An abundance of information on health care, legal rights, and other tips and referral groups will be available for African immigrants. Also screenings for high blood pressure, glucose, and women’s health.
It’s being held in Harlem at the AMANY Cultural Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in collaboration with Bronx Community College (BCC), along with several community organizations like African Cab Drivers Association, Neighborhood Defenders, Family Justice Center, BCC nursing department, Timbuktu Mosque, and many more.
