DescriptionThe appointment of Deputy Inspector Olufunmilola Obe as Commander of the 28th Precinct of the New York Police Department (NYPD) is unprecedented and has made her the highest ranked Diaspora African police officer in the United States. It is also a huge cause for celebration for Continental Africans in the New York City who have come together to formerly welcome and celebrate one of their own.

Description: A night of live rock, indie, and folk in SoBro (South Bronx). Hosted by Charles James- Whisnant featuring RiN, Michael Golden, Quantum Split, Damsel, Jeaninne Johnson, Leads Point, West, Jessica Carmona, Acadia on the Horizon, and Aunna Fu. The concert is open to all ages, but you must be 21+ to drink, there will be $3 Bronxstock shots.
