There has never been a time in known history when so few can do so much damage with so little effort. We are at a crossroads of moving forward with civilization, innovative wonders, globalize family or a total self-destruct. With this highly disregard for humanity, we dread to know that there are men in whose hands are switches for nuclear, biological and chemical world-eliminating machines when there are no longer respect for the rules of engagement.
As much as we appreciate the freedom of the press globally, we appreciate more a press that recognized the danger of over publicizing/glorifying violence. The global criminal elements that occupy the lion share of your daily programming contents, represents so small compare to the unified global efforts to live in peace and harmony. But you make it easier for them to recruit like-minded criminals.
It is our hope that in 2015 each one of our media network would setup a weekly hour long diverse clergy round table to tell the world the relations between their faiths and violence. Let’s bring private religious feelings and conversations in public like we do to politicians.
For your information, if you believe the Bin Ladans of the world are the most hated people, you are in Disney World. It is time to know our preachers’ public and private positions on life and death issues. There is no such thing as a “Lone Wolf”.
