We are sad to inform you that Imam Salihou Diaby, member of NYPD Muslim Advisory Council and Amir of African Imams Council, has passed away last night. He was one of the longest serving chaplains in New York . Without a doubt, he was one of the noblest Muslim scholars in our time. May Allah (SW) receive him in Jannatul Firdawsi.
His funeral took place today at Masjid Khalifa in Brooklyn. Seen here in the wheelchair surrounded by other Council members
