Museveni sworn in

Yoweri Kaguta Museveni the incumbent Uganda’s president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has today been sworn in to lead Uganda in another 5 yr term.

At least 10 African heads of state attended the function including controversial Omar Bashir of Sudan who was indicted by International criminal court (ICC) over crimes against humanity..

Other leaders included Edgar Lungu of Zambia, John Pombe Mafuguli of Tanzania, Deby Itno, Mahamadou Issoufou of Niger, Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe, Uhuru Kenyatta and Teodoro Obiang of Equatrial Guinea.

Among the ceremonies that took place was a flyover of military mig jet planes places, march pass and variety of local and African dances Museveni came to power in 1986 through a gorilla warfare. Some critics have attacked him for over staying in power.
