UN celebrates with Cote D’ivoire on National Day

As Côte d’Ivoire celebrates her 57th national day anniversary, United Nations through her Secretary of State, Rex W. Tillerson has sent her compliments, joining the rest of the world to felicitate with Côte d’Ivoire.

Tillerson in the press statement praised Côte d’Ivoire for her dedication to democracy over the years, noting that the dedication will strengthen growth and stability.

“On behalf of the Government of the United States, congratulations to the people of Côte d’Ivoire, as you celebrate your national independence on August 7th.”

Tillerson further reinstated the United States commitment to helping Côte d’Ivoire achieving her national goals.

“The United States and Côte d’Ivoire have maintained close and friendly relations since your nation’s inception.

“On this 57th anniversary of Côte d’Ivoire’s independence, the United States reaffirms its commitment to helping your nation work towards the goals of lasting peace and economic prosperity.”

“Côte d’Ivoire’s dedication to democracy will strengthen its future growth and stability. We wish the people of Côte d’Ivoire continued progress and success, as you commemorate your National Day.”
