Seeking a loan for a new school building after our relocation

Certainly no family is more fortunate than ours. My wife and I are fortunate enough to have been able to take advantage of some of the most exceptional opportunities this city offers.

Establishing the first and still, only full time Islamic school in The Bronx, which opened on the fateful day Tuesday, September 11, 2001 (http://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/31/nyregion/31nyinterrupted.html), has been our greatest pride and the pinnacle of success. Bringing our cute 4 year old daughter, strong personality 3 year old son along with an adorable 1 year old daughter to join other beautiful kids in the opening of the school which eventually issued them their high school diplomas without ever setting a foot to another school is a feeling impossible for us to put in words.

The only other blessing close to rivaling the feeling we have about the school was the establishment of Beis Menachem Synagogue (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6xZaE5UHo4), the first synagogue housed in a Mosque in the nation, thereby creating the most daringly visible peaceful coexistence among Jews and Muslims in the United States.

This harmonious interfaith coexistence (http://www.ny1.com/nyc/manhattan/news/2015/03/26/local-religious-groups-bring-jewish-and-muslim-children-together.html) along with many other worthy peaceful endeavors (such as Peace December International,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11ZteR1519M) headquartered under the same roof, has made Islamic Cultural Center of North America building facility a hollow ground for the entire humanity.

With that being said, it is indeed very sad to inform you of our cessation of all occupancy to this building since Friday, August 25, 2017.  In the meantime, we’ve found a perfect move-in condition school building (picture attached) in the same area to relocate without major interruptions to the school, mosque and synagogue, Peace December International and Community Peace Patrol Officers operations, provided we can get a loan of $4,500, 000 to by the building or 30% of that amount as down payment to secure a bank loan. As the only full time Muslim school with a Universal Pre-Kindergarten in very high demand, paying back the loan wouldn’t be a problem.

As challenging as it is to relocate, we know this move is a step up for all these worthy projects considering the condition of our former building. By the grace of God, nothing shall hinder our progress in providing quality education, interfaith harmony, peaceful coexistence, grassroots public safety, promotion of quality of life and socioeconomic empowerment in our neighborhoods.

We’re extremely grateful for all our media friends who have been providing amazing coverage on our activities consistently in this place. We certainly are looking forward to working with you all for bigger milestones from our new headquarters. In the meantime, I will be as accessible as ever.
