President Trump raises concern over UN bureaucracy, demands reforms

Channel4, in a recent report, covers the concern as raised by the America’s president. According to the report, during the United Nations general assembly in New York, Donald Trump used his first speech to slap down the organization.

The US President, as quoted told a special meeting to discuss reforms that it should focus more on people and less on bureaucracy. This condemnation from the president came when it is well known that the UN is facing some of the most serious global challenges in its history.

According to some the President was right for calling the attention of the organization. However, to many others, the condemnation must have borne out of share hatred.

Meanwhile, in another news, Nigerians once again have chosen President Buhari ahead of 2019 elections. According to a recent poll conducted by NAIJ.com on social media, the result has shown that many Nigerians believe President Muhammadu Buhari is fit to rule the country in 2019.

The polls which were carried out on Twitter and Facebook, revealed that although many were against a Buhari presidency in 2019, others endorsed it. On Facebook, 45% of the total votes went to President Buhari while 23% went to former vice president, Atiku Abubakar.

On Twitter, Naij.com reports that 48% of the votes also went to Buhari while 21% again went to Atiku. This sends a message. As much as the administration receives criticism from opposition, the masses have not found any other candidate to entrust their mandate.
