China is facing cultural battle with India

Bejing: President of China Xi Jinping visited India on October 1st 2017 to attend cultural festival in Ahmedabad, according to Zee News Channel, China and India engaged themselves in regional cultural competition.

Both the nations are non-Muslim Asian giants that had been facing competitions since past 20 years in cultural aspect; China considered it as stereotyping colours.

According to Reuters, “Chinese President XI Jinping holds an umbrella as he watches folk artists perform at the Sabarmati river front along with Modi in Ahmedabad.”

Chinese President said, “China and India are engaged in a wary competition for regional influence and leadership.”

“Unfortunately, we are always in a border standoff over a remote mountain pass in Himalaya,” he added, “China’s development has been comprehensive in terms of politics, economics and military.”

Prime Minister of India Nirandar Modi said, “We are Asian Giants but in terms of soft power.”

Chinese director of the Southeast Asian Research Institute at Peking University said, “No doubts, we are Asian giants to project soft power, India has done better than us.”
“Although Indian economy is not as developed, they have put a huge emphasis on promoting their culture, including things like Buddhist traditions and yoga.”

Furthermore, both countries signed the project of $1 trillion in order to promote cultural activities across the region.
