Bandar Seri Begawan: On the order of King of Brunei Darussalam, the commencement of golden celebration had been conducted and Royal Palace was open for everyone in order to celebrate a Ceremony in Conjunction with the Golden Jubilee of Royal Family on Friday October 6th 2017.
It had been acknowledged that Royal Family of Brunei always celebrated events with their people; there were no discrimination between rich and poor.
People’s love and trust on Royal family had been maintained generation after generation.
Their Majesties first received the Royal Salute, accompanied by a 21-gun salute.
His Majesty stressed during his speech, “The monarch’s obligation is to be just to the people, while the people’s obligation is to be loyal to the monarch.
“A monarch has the obligation to know the people’s difficulties and comfort; on the other hand, the people are required to be sympathetic to the monarch.”
Then Sultan announced ascended the throne as the 29th Sultan of Brunei Darussalam.
On the order of His Majesty the doors of Istana Nurul Imam is opened for all for feast and that procession was conducted especially to remove discrimination.
It has been reported that special guests from Great Britain, The Earl of Wessex as the personal representative of Queen Elizabeth, Royal prince Antony Richard Louis and Royal Highness Sophie, countess of Wessex attended that ceremony.
The ceremonial Parade had been commenced and everyone enjoyed there.
