Indian Defense Ministry approves 10 Heron TP drones with Israeli Manufacturer Company

New Delhi: The defense minister of India told in his statement that the government had bought 10 Heron TP drones last years from Israel which led to the deal proposed by India for the mandatory transfer of technology to foreign vendor’s requirements.

The IAI Israel Aerospace Industries (Israeli Manufacturer Company) signed a contract with India in July in which he had shown his interest to supply combat drones to India.

Earlier the following year Prime Minister of India Nirandra Modi signed memorandums of understanding MoUs with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Indian Retired Air Chief Marshal Anil Chopra told Sputnik, “The future is unnamed. Most Air forces are working to have an uninhabited air vehicle for every possible mission.”

“The USA already has more UAVs than aircraft. India must become an independent UAV manufacturer. “No one will give technology. We should beg, borrow or steal the technology…

“Use economic muscles like China did…increase research funding.”

Some of Israeli officials told about the restrictions about advanced UAV, “The restrictions that the Israeli Ministry of Defense attaches to the export of this advanced UAV are many and in such a close competition, maybe, a crucial factor.”

Furthermore, Indian announced export new version of Heron TP of Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR) of which India had been becoming a member with Israel since 2016.
