Dubai: Dubai these days has become so famous for the traffic jams and eight most eminent places considered as traffic hot spots, according to reports. And Dubai Marina Metro Station Manama Street is considered most busy area where there are always bottlenecks and traffic jams. This has significantly slowed down business activities in the city.

On Sunday December 17, 2017, Dubai residents talked of traffic woes.

It had been reported that heavy rain on Sunday morning with at least 15 accidents and number of ongoing roadwork’s blocking major businesses.

Motorists advised to drive safely and avoided everyone exceeding the speed limit and overtaking other road users.

Dubai police told, “Al-Khalid road before Latifa Bint Hamadan Bridge towards Al Maydan bridge, resulting delays. Please drive safely and carefully.”

Long tailbacks reported, “A number of major highways around Dubai and residents heading back to work would do well to take alternative routes. In neighbouring emirates, including Fujairah, motorists have to wade through flooded streets as rains hit many parts of the country.”

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) issued advisory asking residents to be careful when driving wet roads.

RTA Dubai tweeted, “When it rains, please drive patiently, and avoid speeding and overtaking other vehicles. Your safety is our priority.”

However, Traffic jam was a big challenge for the Dubai and to compete with that challenge, government needs to construct more highways and bridges to facilitate the people.
