Community Public Safety Partners (CPSP) launched its ‘first of a kind’ Constituency Index New York City.
Bronx, New York- On Friday, March 30, 2018, Community Public Safety Partnership (CPSP) held a historic public press conference on the steps of the Bronx Supreme Court Building and officially announced the launching of Constituency Index, “first of its kind” in New York. The index is a resident-driven survey.
“While our elected officials tout their successes and achievements during their respective annual addresses, their constituents have not been given a chance to express the reality in their neighborhoods and districts in a similar fashion.” Said Sheikh Musa Drammeh, one of CPSP members.
Constituency Index (CI) is a scalable survey to accurately highlight the living conditions and feelings of a broad or segmented constituency in a given district or county so that public resources are directed where they are needed the most. CI shall empowers elected leaders as well against selfish special interest groups, the members hope.
CI starts with seven main (7) categories with multiple relevant questions under each categories. See attachment: Constituency Index
