While we know the GOP and its trump administration are deplorable, we must nonetheless be very careful to not naively align yourselves with leftist extortionists with selfish political, economic and/or publicity hidden agendas, using otherwise noble causes. Many of these so called “Civil and Human Rights” groups are extortion opportunists whose main objectives are to remain relevant, not for prevention of injustices that they publicly condemned.
These extortionists do not commit their volunteers to helping students in failing schools, improving quality of life in poor neighborhoods, or to work on permanently uplifting their purported victims. Because doing that would eliminate their need to exist and be ready for other cameras’ moments.
Just like racist fringes in the Republican Party use xenophobic for their recruitments and fundraisings, the leftist extortionists use the plights of good folks with noble causes as their preys.
To spend our energies, finite resources and loyalties productively, we must insist on altruism, transparency, and only associate with groups, movements and causes that are genuine in action and noble in purpose. And always insist on getting the financial statements and leadership charts to weed out corruption, conflict of interest, nepotism and misappropriation of well-intended resources.
Once these groups pass our transparency test, then we must commit to them with all our talents, energies, resources and loyalties. BRONXATTITUDE! #BronxAttitude.
