Nigeria: Participants share experience as NASFAT ends 2019 youth week with prize-giving ceremony
Nasrul-lahi-li Fathi Society (NASFAT) has ended its 2019 youth week programme.
Participants shared their experience and expressed their feelings as the one-week programme ended on Sunday 29th December 2019 with a prize-giving ceremony.
At this year’s programme, some participants received awards and prizes in the following category: best couple at the programme, most influential member, most amiable member, and best group.
Participants were also entertained with a drama presentation by the young drama group of NASFAT.
Sharing her experience at the programme, the Amirah of Owutu Branch, Jimoh Balikis Alao, said, “This year’s camp has been interesting, fantastic and full of Dawah activities. I am not regretting this year’s edition of Youth Week Camp organized by NASFAT, Lagos Zone One”
Another member who represented Shomolu Branch, Abdul Afeez Odofin, noted that it was a lovely moment for him to participate in the programme.
“This is my loveable moment with my fellow brothers and sisters in Islam where we share great things together,” he said.
According to Abeebat Nurudeen, a representative of Mushin Branch, she noted that NASFAT camp programme had given her a privilege to increase in Dawah.
“NASFAT has given me a great privilege to increase in Islamic Dawah wherever,” she said.
In his own testimony, Lawal Sulaiman Amir Ojota Ogudu Branch, said, “NASFAT Youth Week gave me an opportunity to increase more in Dawah because every night, I woke up to pray and I leveraged the opportunity to seek God’s favour.”
“NASFAT camp is now in my blood because it always gives me the opportunity to move closer to Allah,” said Shukuroh Adebayo, a representative of Ikorodu Branch.
Expressing his joy, Oyewoga Hassan, Youth P.R.O of Ojota Branch stated that, “If I am not in Nasfat Camp where will I be? I see new things, achieve great things, learnt great things.”
The zonal Coordinator of the programme, Alhaji M.B Ali, commended the organising committee for the success of the programme.
“I must sincerely commend you for the success of this year’s camp programme. All members on this committee have really worked assiduously to make this programme a success,” he stated.
While the group’s camp Chairman, Alhaji Ridwan Amoo appreciated all participants and zonal executive members for their true-blue support throughout the programme, Alhaji Saheed Oladele, the group’s Zonal Head of Dawah, rounded off the programme with a special prayer.
