Pakistan: Arabic students win university robotics competition
Students of Jamia Baitul Salam has emerged winner of an educational robotics competition conducted in Pakistan’s HITEC University Taxila, Panjab.
The Madrassa students, who won the robotics competition, defeated competitors from 20 other universities.
The students of Jamia Baitul Salam also won an Urdu speech competition and a Spelling Bee contest conducted the same day in HITEC.
“Madrassas often receive very disturbing stereotypical views from the local public and they are mainly known to provide only religious education to the population,” the Proprietor said.
“However, the glory of this Islamic institution has depicted that talent and intelligence have no boundaries and that Pakistan is immensely filled with bright and talented youth,” he added.
Every year HITEC University arrange a mega inter-university event that comprises of different curricular and co-curricular competition.
