Politician celebrates New Year with orphans

In a bid to show love, affection and generosity to the less privileged, Nigerian politician, Vice Chairman of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA in Mushin, Lagos State, Hon Seyi Jakande, has visited orphans in his state.

While speaking at Little Saints Orphanage, Lagos State on Friday 3rd January 2020, the Vice Chairman noted that he was motivated by his spirit of affection for the less privileged.


“This season is mostly meant to show love and affection. That’s why I decided to visit Little Saints Orphanage to ensure these members of the society also enjoy the feelings of the festive period,” he noted.

“This is the time we need to remember the haves-not and less privileged in order to extend affection sympathy and love,” he added.

The Vice Chairman further stated that he was particularly appreciating God who places everyone in every position they find themselves in life.

“It is the responsibility of us in this position to assist others who do not have or who are struggling,” he said.

The Vice Chairman visited the orphanage with lots of gifts for the orphans. And he spent time to talk to them.
