First case of coronavirus diagnosed in the United Arab Emirate

First case of coronavirus has been diagnosed in the United Arab Emirate.

This was disclosed by UAE Ministry of Health in a statement on Wednesday 29 January, 2020.

The ministry stated that the virus was diagnosed in a family from Wuhan China to the UAE.

“The first case of coronavirus was diagnosed in Chinese citizens from Wuhan City China,” the statement reads.

The ministry therefore warned against unnecessary panic because the health condition of those affected is stable and that necessary medical observation is being carried out.

“Meanwhile, the heath condition of those affected is stable and under medical observation,” the statement adds.

The Ministry also assured the public that the Ministry of Health and Prevention is working around the clock putting necessary things in place and will report any new case of the deadly disease.

The Minister of Health said on his Twitter handle today that the general health situation was not a cause for alarm and that the first case of virus was diagnosed in Chinese citizens from Wuhan China.
