The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has strongly condemned the terrorist attack targeting a church in a village in northern Burkina Faso
It was reported that several people were killed and many others injured in the attack, which occurred on Tuesday 18th February, 2020
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation expressed its utter shock for the criminal act.
“It is an act of terrorism aimed at undermining security and stability in contravention of religious and human values and principles,” the statement reads.
The Ministry also expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims of this heinous crime and its wishes for a speedy recovery for all of the injured.
