Minister Abdul Hafeez dies from Coronavirus
Abdul Hafeez Mohammed, the Student Minister for the New York, has died from Coronavirus.
His death was announced on Saturday April 11th, 2020.
Muhammed was the leader of the Eastern Regional Headquarters of the Nation of Islam and the New York representative of Minister Louis Farrakhan.
Mohammed was the founder and CEO of the Center for Self-Improvement, Inc. Throughout the New York city, Mohammed was renowned for “Peace in The Street”, a non-violent gathering he coordinated along with the Minister Farrakhan.
Mohammed had, from 1998 to 2000 served as the Assitant East Coast Regional Minister covering the tri-state region including Canada through South Carolina. Having served as the Minister for six years, Mohammed led the launching of Mohammed Mosque No. 7c in Broklyn.
Funeral arrangements are yet to be announced.
