Covid-19: Food company supplies free packages to LCDA in Lagos
As a way of supporting the Nigerian government in fighting against Covid-19 pandemic, Sunlight Resources Limited, a private company in Lagos, has supplied some its products to Odiolowo-Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area.
While receiving the products on Saturday May 2, 2020, the Executive Chairman of the LCDA, Hon Rasaq Olusola Ajala, expressed his gratitude to the organization for deeming it fit to remember the people of the council at this trying period.
He promised that the gesture and the company would be indelibly remembered as one of the organizations that supported the people of the council at this critical period.
He maintained that SRL should always remember Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA as an integral part of Mushin Local Government.
“Many organizations and individuals like Hon Adedeji Owoeye who championed your coming to the council has also tried to reach out out to the people in his own little way,” the chairman said.
Mr Effiong James who led the SRL team to the council said, “I was happy to present this token to support the council at this critical period. I want to use this opportunity to promise that our company will continue to support the council at anytime the occasion demands.”
He also prayed that God deliver the state, the country and the entire world from the scourge of Covid-19 ravaging the world.
With the chairman was Hon Adedeji Owoeye, Supervisors for Agriculture Hon Isiaq Onoshokun, Health, Hon Abdul-Rofeeu Bola Obale and Principal Assistant to the Executive Chairman, Mr Elijah Martins.
