Nigeria: House of Rep Member Alli Adeyemi wishes Muslims Eid Mubarak, calls for national unity
Hon. Alli Adeyemi Taofeek, representing Mushin Federal Constituency 1, in Lagos State, has felicitated with Muslim Ummah in his constituency and beyond on the occasion of this year’s Eidul-Fitr.
In a statement signed on Thursday May 13, 2021, the House of Rep member enjoined his constituents to embrace peace during this festive period.
“I felicitate with my constituents especially the Muslims on the occasion of this year’s Eidel-fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan,” the message reads.
He added, “I enjoin all believers who have obeyed Allah’s commandmen to fast in the holy month of Ramadan to eschew vices avoided during the fasting in obedience to divine commandment.”
He therefore implored all citizens to come together in unity to “forge a national cohesion, tolerance and peace as Prophet Muhammad preaches with the directive of Allah”.
“We shall never stop seeking God’s favour and guidance over the security challenges in the country,” Hon Alli stated.
