On August 6th, Council Member Peter F. Vallone Jr. visited P.S. 122’s Summer Soccer Camp organized by the Sports & Arts in Schools Foundation (SASF).
Vallone and the City Council were able to secure funding for the free program, which serves roughly 200 children in Queens.
During his visit, the Council Member played goalie in a pick-up soccer game with kids and spoke with parents – who talked about how important the camp is to their children.
