The peace lights are an original creation by the founder of the New York Peace coalition, Sheikh Moussa Drammeh. In his own words, “The Peace lights are a reminder that in every instance of life we must aim to live in peace”.
Our organization is a socially conscious entity that is in tune with the new energy shift which has been a prominent mark in humanity for the past ten years. We are heeding to the collective call of living on our planet in a new way, and our response is the call of advocating, promoting and living in peace.
New York Peace Coalition is an embodiment of governmental and nongovernmental organizations that started with Adopt-A-Friend, Bronx Clergy Task Force, NAACP Parkchester Branch, New York Center For Conflict Dialogue, LaCrown Initiatives- It Takes A Village Inc, Latin America-Muslim Women Organization, Islamic Leadership School, St Ann Anti Violence Program, The New York City Mayor, the Bronx Borough President Office, Bronx District Attorney, NYS State Senator Ruth Hassell- Thompson, DYCD, NYC Parks, NYPD, JCRC-Cause NY, just to name a few.
Why Peace lights
The peace lights are intended to stimulate a peaceful ambiance where ever they are lit. They are light-weight, portable and make any scenery radiate and warm atmosphere of peace. We are now on a mission to ensure that our peace lights become a basic commodity to be hung at homes, in work spaces, places of worship, schools, government offices, and other places. Therefore your entity has the opportunity to earn revenue in marketing these peace-promoting lights to the members and supporters, through our affiliation program.
Objectives of the initiative.
i) Enhance strategic awareness in crime reductions.
ii) Promote peace and reduce homicides and other domestic violence cases

Since promoting universal peace is the foundation of these lights, sales are only made through our affiliating Peace Partners. All ‘Lights of Peace’ transactions require affiliate ID numbers, therefore organizations that want to earn revenue and promote peace, must register as Affiliate Peace Partners and get their individualized affiliation identification numbers. These ID numbers can be given to their members, families, friends and others who want to support them financially.
