Take action not acting!

Dear my fellow Bronx leaders preparing to honor Dr. King:

Thank you so much for allowing us to help you with your plans to honor and celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s life, please be aware that Dr. King is dead!

So honoring him is not to just to organize photo op events and quoting his most beautiful and eloquent speeches about justice, equality, fairness and righteousness, if those quotes are not being applied in the Bronx. We said “Take action not acting.”

The fact is that over sixty percent of the Bronxites have not yet benefitted from the economic power of their City. They have not yet been allowed to live in any neighborhood within their borough. They have not yet enjoy the quality of life comparable to other counties due to persistent and normalized violent crimes in their county. They have not yet participated in the new technical economy due to their schools producing more prison-bounds then IV League-bound. They have not yet been shielded from the swift gentrification tide due to their low ownership of residential and commercial properties in their county. They are in bondages of health problems, extreme poverty, violence, broken homes and a vicious cycle of poor political and religious representations. Just to name a few.

So to truly honor Dr. King this year, we ask you to join the daring grassroots leaders who are committed to taking back their borough from the ravages of violent crimes which causes the current extreme poverty and all other social ills preventing Dr. King’s messages from be implemented in the Bronx.

These competent leaders are honoring Dr. King by converging on the steps of Bronx County Courthouse Building, 851 Grand Concourse, Bronx, New York 10462, on Monday, January 16, 2017, 1-2:30PM. 718-822-5555

They will also demand for the Establishment of ‘Grassroots Public Safety Prevention Partnership, GPSPP’ with equitable funding for its commissioned activities.
