Nigerian football star hails Conte
Following the victory of Chelsea on Sunday, loads of encomium has been renting the air wave by fans and well-wishers. Many of these have been directed in praise to the club’s manager –Antonio Conte for his professional mastery and managerial expertise.
In the spirit of celebration, Nigerian football star Victor Moses was not left out. He praised and described Conte as a manager who believes in his team.
Moses belled his mind on the club’s website, stating that Conte has recovered a great feat for the club.
“He is taken our game to the next level; he pushes us to our limit. Each and every one of us totally respects him. We love him as our manager. He has great passion and he is played the game before.” Moses said.
“It is good to have a manager who believes in every player. He has given us all massive confidence and we are enjoying our football, he added.
Antonio Conte is an Italian professional football manager and former player who became the manager of Premier League club Chelsea in 2016.
On 13 January 2017, Conte became the first manager in history to win three consecutive Manager of the Month awards (October, November and December). And on the 12th May 2017, Conte’s Chelsea side defeated West Bromwich Albion 1–0 away, with a late goal from substitute Michy Batshuayi, and secured the points required to win the 2016–17 Premier League title with two games to spare.Following a 5–1 home win over Sunderland on 21 May, Chelsea also set a new Premier League record for the most wins in a single season under Conte, with 30 league victories.
