The Telegraph newspaper story about London attack is a pure lie, a Muslim media expert says

A Nigerian Muslim media expert, Adeyemi Habeebullahi, has accused The Telegraph of slamming and staining Islam and Muslims with media fallacy and propaganda. He said this on Sunday while reacting to the newspaper’s headline tagged ‘They shouted ‘this is for Allah’, as they stabbed indiscriminately’ – how the London terror attack unfolded.

Habeebullahi debunked The Telegraph’s story saying that the report lacks facts and essential ingredient of media report writing.

“The Telegraph Story is a pure lie. I watched the news on the BBC and Al Jazeera, and the eye-witnesses recounts didn’t include anyone shouting: this is for Allah,” said Habeebullahi.

“The Police Chief who confirmed the Incidence did not mention it either. In fact he made it clear that the attackers are simply suspects,” he added.

“It took just few hours to identify the suicide bomber of Manchester attack because he’s a Muslim and an Arab. But it’s taking a lifetime to reveal the identities of the so called assailants despite that they were shot and killed. This is simply a conspiracy theory to attack Muslims and Islam.”

He therefore advised readers to be extremely conscious of mainstream media like Telegraph to avoid being misinformed and misguided.

“Do not just believe anything you read in the Newspaper, sometimes they are misleading. ” he concluded.
