Southampton dismisses Claude Puel as coach, wishes him well in the future
Claude Puel until the end of the season remained the manager of Southampton. The french man has now been laid off by Principals of the club, settling him with a pay-off, in order to avoid allegations of breach -as the contract between Claude and the Club has not ended.
As published on the webpage of Nigerian Eye, Claude has about two years left to complete his deal with the club. It is gathered that the position of the club on the Premiership League (as at the completion of the season) is perhaps one of the reason for his unfortunate send off.
According to reports available, Claude was only able to lead his team to finish eight position on the League table. The club disclosed, in a statement from her principals that Claude’s position as coach is terminated with immediate effect.
