School Relocation

Dear friends, supporters, parents, elected officials and peacemakers:

Re: Relocation

Certainly no family is more fortunate than ours, and no place on earth is dearer to us than the Bronx, our home. We are fortunate enough to have been able to harness to some of the most exceptional opportunities this city offers.

First Muslim School:

Establishing the first and still only full time Islamic school in The Bronx, which opened on the fateful day Tuesday, September 11, 2001 (http://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/31/nyregion/31nyinterrupted.html), has been our greatest pride and the pinnacle of success. Bringing our cute 4 year old daughter, strong personality 3 year old son along with an adorable 1 year old daughter to join other beautiful kids in the opening of the school that eventually issued them their high school diplomas without ever setting a foot to another school is a feeling impossible for us to put in words.

Shul-In-The Mosque:

The only other blessing close to rivaling the feeling we have about the school was the establishment of Beis Menachem Synagogue (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6xZaE5UHo4), the first synagogue housed in a Mosque in the nation, thereby creating the most daringly visible peaceful coexistence among Jews and Muslims in the United States.

This harmonious interfaith coexistence (http://www.ny1.com/nyc/manhattan/news/2015/03/26/local-religious-groups-bring-jewish-and-muslim-children-together.html) along with many other worthy peaceful endeavors (such as Peace December International,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11ZteR1519M) headquartered under the same roof, has made Islamic Cultural Center of North America building facility a hollow ground for the entire humanity.

End of first chapter:

With that being said, it indeed very sad to inform of the pending cessation of all occupancy to this building by Friday, August 25, 2017 due to in adequate facility and some financial challenges.  In the meantime, we’re trying to find a adequate facility to relocate without major interruptions to the school, mosque and synagogue, Peace December International and Community Peace Patrol Officers operations.

As challenging as it is to relocate, we know this move is a step up considering the condition of our current building for all these years. By the grace of God, nothing shall hinder our progress in providing quality education, interfaith harmony, peaceful coexistence, grassroots public safety, promotion of quality of life in all neighborhoods and socioeconomic empowerment of the least of thee.

What’s next?

After seventeen (17) blissful years of trials and challenges and one hundred (100%) percent of our graduates went to college, we’ve mastered the basic operation of managing grade schools with integrated academic and spiritual curricula and readying likewise for a Muslim University in the heart of the Bronx County, where it all begin and needed the most. We shall build a world class learning institution for students of all backgrounds, genders and socioeconomic conditions. Considering the school’s proven counter extremist ideology, it would be a good investment for those capable of assisting us in acquiring suitable building/land so we can reach more students and those susceptible to falling victims to religious extremist recruiters.

School Building Loan:

With thousands of parents waiting for such high quality school in the Bronx, we are ready for futuristic Muslim-centered, world-class and integrated learning compound. A Muslim school established on 9/11, is divinely commissioned to change the culture of Muslim extremism in New York.

Media Partners:

We’re extremely grateful for all our media friends who have been providing amazing coverage on our activities consistently in this place. We certainly are looking forward to working with you all for more and bigger milestones from our new headquarters. In the meantime, I will be as accessible as ever.
