RAJASTHAN – India these days is becoming unhomely for girls and women day by day with rape cases, most especially after rape case of another Guru – a 70-year old Hindu preacher cum rapist, Kaushlendra Prapannacharya Falahari Maharaj, famous as “Falahari Baba”, which took place in Rajasthan, where he appealed for forgiveness at High Court on September 22, 2017, according to Zee TV.
Earlier that week, a 17 years old girl attended the religious ceremony, when a family reported in area’s police station about their daughter was missing while performing their ritual ceremonies.
It was told by the victim that she was kidnapped by “Baba’s gang” (who are used to rape the girls in gang), “I am not the only one who was kidnapped but there were nearly 15 girls who were with me.”
On the order of High Court in Rajasthan, police raid Baba’s house and released innocent girls from there.
Another 21 years old victim said, “My whole life is destroyed” she added, “I used to come ashram (praying place), but one day Baba gave me a juice to drink.
“He told me this is a Holy water. As I drank I became faint.”
“He is having strong links with top politicians and celebrities,” she told media.
It was reported that he was arrested when he went for his regular checkup in private hospital in Alwar over “high blood pressure”.
Another woman told police, “My family has been following him for years. I went to ashram to meet him and donate some money. I was told that the Baba couldn’t meet anyone during an “eclipse” and requested me to stay the night.” she added, “Baba called me at night to his room and raped me.”
“I was warned by him to maintain a silence. He often visited my house.”
During investigation, one of Baba’s follower said, “There is a conspiracy to defame the saints; I cannot say anything on the charge. Babaji is currently hospitalized.”
Police Officer in Chhattigarh’s Bilaspurr Archana Jha said, “Her family told her to give her first salary to Baba. When she went there to meet him, he told her to wait and then raped and threatened her.
“The parents came to us after the women told them everything and we registered a case. When we raid the house, we found nearly 14 girls, their hands were tightened with ropes and the mouth were closed. We released all the girls after investigation.”
However, despite of all allegations Baba requested to forgive him.
