Lebanon’s Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri resigns, denies all allegations against him

Tehran: Lebanon Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri resignation would bring a tension in a region said by Iran, according to media reports.

Iranian Foreign Minister said, “His resignation surprised us and it led a plot to stoke strain atmosphere in Asia.”

On November 5, 2017, state official media of Lebanon said, “Mr. Hariri’s resignation opens up great uncertainty in Lebanon.

“His father who was the former Prime Minister assassinated in 2005.

“US and Saudi Arabia were behind his resignation.”

It had been reported by Mr. Hariri’s broadcasted interview on official news channel of Lebanon, “Iran is sowing fear and destruction in several countries, including Lebanon.

“I am stepping down because I have a fear for my life.”

Iran strongly condemned the statement by Saad Al-Hariri.

An advisor to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Kahmenei said, “Hariri’s resignation was done with planning by [US President] Donald Trump and Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.”

Proclaimed news stated by senior analysts, “His sudden departure plunges Lebanon into a new political crisis and raises fears that it may be at the forefront of the regional rivalry between Shia power Iran and Sunni stronghold Saudi Arabia.”

Furthermore, Iranian Foreign ministry spokesman Bahram  Qasemi said, “Mr. Hariri’s departure was aimed at creating tension in Lebanon and the region.
