Indian cricket captain at science exhibition was standing in the queue for his kids like other parents, when he posted on his Facebook wall praised and got popularity by 12,000 likes within an hour.
It had been conceded that being celebrity, he didn’t boost himself, so people also couldn’t stop praising Rahul Dravid for standing in a line like any other parent, sans any celebrity airs.
One of the parents Sudhinda commented, “We all were there too. It was pleasure to see Dravid walk around with the common folks like one of us.”
A journalist Rajiv K Mishra said, “He indeed is. My elder sister is his son’s class teacher. He is very regular for PTM, she said and no vip tantrums. That’s Rahul Dravid in queue with his kids at a science exhibition. No show off, not acted like a page 3 attitude, even not celebrity airs.
“He never gives ‘do you know who I am?’ looks, queuing just like an ordinary parent is really admirable by him.”
Nepal coach Binod Kumar Das gave very good comments about him few days back when he congratulated the coach on his under-19 Asia cup victory against India. He said, “Dravid has been very humble. He congratulated us.”
However, it’s unclear when it had been captured but many of his fans commented on it by considering him down to earth persona.
