As Yemenis face more bombardment from Saudi, Houthi rebels threaten to send missile bombs to Somaliland

Sana’a: The capital of Yemen everyday wakes up with the air strike by Saudi Arabia, according to the recent reports. Residents have therefore seen Saudis as nightmare making them sleepless due to the fear of the death.

A large number Yemenis migrated to neighboring African countries like Djibouti, Somalia, Puntland, and Somaliland, where UAE, ally of Saudi Arabia, recently put up their military base.

However, the Yemeni Houthis have recently threatened to send missile bombs to Somaliland because the de facto State allowed UAE to set up their military base in Berbera.

A Yemeni refugee in Somaliland who claimed anonymity told MCR, ‘We used to experience jet engines flowing thousands of feet above us and that kept my children awoke at night in Yemen. So we’ve hadenough.We’ve had experiences where the planes killed our loved ones. We just pray that we’re not the next.”

‘We left the state and became refugee here. We are safe and secure here,’ she further lamented.

Ahmad Matan, a Somalilander, told our correspondent, ‘They are joking around with us. We have signed agreement with the British government as their former colony. So we have their back.
