9/11 was a tragic event that claimed so many innocent lives. Holocaust was a crime against humanity and could never be allowed to happen again. But let’s remind the public that since 9/11, Muslims have been the greatest victims of collateral damage and sanctions imposed that have created far greater numbers of deaths.
The Iraq War, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Palestine, Rohingya, Nigeria, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Mali, Central Africa, Chechnya, Libya, the list goes on and on. They say that silence hides the truth but the bodies of murdered Muslims are crying out for justice from their graves. It’s an obligation upon Muslims and people of goodwill to speak out against any injustice and why there is no Justice for victims of these endless conflicts.
Collateral damage is the most in humane deprivation of respect for any human life. Thus, We decreed upon the children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless as legal punishment for murder or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one soul, it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. Surat Al-Ma’idah 5:32. Do not kill the soul which Allah has made sacred except by right of justice. Whoever is killed unjustly, We have given his heir authority, but let him not exceed the limits in taking life. Surat Al-Isra 17:33. Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
أَعَفُّ النَّاسِ قِتْلَةً أَهْلُ الْإِيمَانِ
The most restrained of the people in killing are the people of faith. Source: Musnad Ahmad 3720, Grade: Sahih
So I ask my brothers and sisters where is your faith to speak out against the injustice of our brothers and sisters being murdered.
May Allah guide our hearts and minds Ameen May Allah protect us from the evil affairs affiliated of this so called collateral damage. Ameen
May Allah unite our hearts away from any divisions placed by those who are conspiring to kill our brothers and sisters Ameen
