The Impeached US President Donald Trump has demanded an immediate impeachment trial in the Senate, amid an impasse among Democrats and Republicans over when it may start.

“So after the Democrats gave me no Due Process in the House, no lawyers, no witnesses, no nothing, they now want to tell the Senate how to run their trial. Actually, they have zero proof of anything, they will never even show up. They want out. I want an immediate trial!” impeached President Trump tweeted.

The House of Representatives, on Wednesday, impeached President Trump on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

However, Speaker Pelosi has vowed not to forward the impeachment articles to the Senate unless she gets clear cut of how the impeachment trial with be conducted by the Republican-controlled Senate, who have allegedly refused key witnesses in an attempt to avoid holding a fair trial.

The House passed the two charges on Wednesday, following accusations that the impeached President Trump pressured Ukraine to indite his political rival Joe Biden and his son Hunter, and his refusal to co-operate with a congressional inquiry into the matter.

This is the fourth time the  impeachment process would take place in the political history of the United States, which are all conducted with a  split along party lines.

According to public opinion, the impeached President has ninety percent possibility of being acquitted, considering the number of his fellow Republicans at the Senate.  They believe that is why he is in a rush to have his impeachment trial take place with immediate effect.
