Disclosing this on Thursday March 19th, 2020, the President stated that it was a necessary measure to cushion the economic effects of coronavirus in the country.
“We regrettably wish to Inform you all that due to the coronavirus Pandemic that has affected the daily routine of our people, I want to kindly urge you not to collect rent money from your tenants for the next 90 days,” he said.
