Some very sad news has just reached the Muslim Community Report this morning. Mr. Giash Uddin, the president of the Bangla Bazar Business Association and Bangla Bazaar Mosque has just passed away this morning from the Coronavirus infection. Mr. Uddin was one of the most successful pioneer within the growing Bangladeshi immigrant community in the Bronx, and a prominent leader in Parkchester Bangladeshi business and religious affairs. The community is unquestionably devastated. He will be missed tremendously. He was a successful entrepreneur and a philanthropist. Please stay tune for additional details on his passing.
