Iran begins plan to organize Eid Al-Fitr prayers in all cities
Despite the ravaging pandemic across the world and the need for social distancing to curtail the spread of the pandemic, Iran has disclosed plan to organize Eid Al-Fitr prayers in open spaces in all Iranian cities.
While announcing this on Sunday May 17, 2020, Hossein Kazemi, secretary of the committee tackling the coronavirus outbreak in Iran, stated that the prayer will be held in open places and in all cities.
He added that “It will not take place where participation is likely to be intense.”
He explained further that restaurants will be opened after Ramadan, taking into account health protocols.
The Iranian Ministry of Health also announced that the conditions in the country are better than before, stressing the need to continue to adhere to health recommendations.
