EMA predicts warm weather in Cairo, Lower Egypt

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) has predicted that warm weather will prevail in Cairo and Lower Egypt, during daylight hours on Sunday.

The weather forecast also foresees moderate weather in Northern Coasts, while South Sinai and South Upper Egypt will see hot conditions.

Director of the Weather Forecast Department at EMA, Mahmoud Shaheen, also predicted that the country will be witnessing fog on some agricultural roads close to water areas, leading to and from Cairo.

“The fog will also prevail in Lower Egypt and North Upper Egypt,” EMA said.

It is expected cold weather to prevail in South Sinai and in the north of the country, at night.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 24C in Cairo, 20C in Alexandria, 18C in Marsa Matruh, 31C in Sohag, 31C in Qena and 32C in Aswan.
