Ghanaian president decorated with the highest national award of Senegal

Reports reaching from Ghana has it that President Nana Addo Dankwa of Ghana was on Tuesday, May 22nd decorated with the Grand Croix de l’Ordre national du Lion (Grand Cross of the Order of the Lion) by President Macky Sall of Senegal during the Ghanaian President’s tour to the country.

The tour was said to serve in a way to harmonize the ties between Ghana and Senegal for progress of both countries –especially during the dispensation of the new administration in Ghana. President Nana Addo reinstated his administration’s readiness to join hands with Senegal in the management and growth of their oil and gas for a satisfactory turn over.

“With the recent discovery of oil and gas in Senegal in commercial quantities and with our experiences, I believe Ghana is well-equipped to share with you the do(s) and don’t(s) in the effective management of oil and gas revenue”, He said.

He appreciated the kind gesture of the Senegalese president and acknowledged his fondness as he was decorated accordingly.
