Police recovers vehicle, police uniform, firearms and ammunition from criminals in South Africa
In recent times, there has been rise in criminal activities in South Africa which has placed life in danger. The police force has since intensify efforts and has since been trying every possibilities to reduce and curb the menace as much as possible. There has been numerous recorded cases of theft, robbery and burglary during broad daylight. This has really become worrisome for some times now in South Africa.
This increase in crime rate by men of the Underworld has not only caused insecurity among people, it has posed threat to life and equally induced undue fear among citizens. Just this week, the police has apprehended six suspects on two separate occasions.
It is reported that the police arrested three suspects following a robbery operation in Manapyane, a place close to Marble Hall. Two of the suspects however were shot as they exchanged bullet with the police. The third was also capture but without injuries.
Following their arrest, two 9mm firearms was recovered from the gang. This is among other items including a Plasma Tv, 11 round of ammunition, 1x balaclava, 1x wristwatch and VW citi Golf that was recovered. Investigations are on to ascertain the origin of these items.
Police informs the public that these suspects will appear before Motetema Magistrate Court and will be charged with attempted murder, possession of firearms and ammunition and possession of suspected stolen vehicle.
In another report, another gang of robbers in Polokwane were apprehended and caught in the possession of a stolen vehicle, Police reflector jacket and Polokwane municipality rubber stamp. It was also stated that they will also appear before Polokwane Magistrate court to answer to charges on the possession of stolen property. Meanwhile, police investigations continue to uncover more suspects in the hood.
