RAMADAN GIST – DAY 14: Habit Tracking
By Amatul Qafaar
This is a continuation of our previous article, we will be sharing two or three other habits to be cultivated during and after Ramadan, in sha Allah.
Making Qur’an Your Music
The heart is a vessel that cannot contain love for two opposing things. If listening to music has been beautiful to you, then there is no doubt that the Quran’s beauty is veiled from your eyes because once you love listening to music then you cannot possibly love the Qur’an as much. Fill your heart’s void with the Qur’an and replace all the tracks with Qur’anic recitations.
Take advantage of your free time
Be wise with your time because it is simply not replaceable. We have been told that one of the first things you are going to be asked on the day of judgement is what you have been doing with your time? If you are doing something that brings no benefit for you in this dunya and akhirah during your free time, i.e. going through TV channels even if you don’t have anything to watch, or just hanging out with friends and thus wasting time by not knowing where the time went, then you seriously need to think twice and allot something beneficial for your time and Allah will bless your time for you.
That is it for today’s article, may Allah put the love of the Qur’an in our hearts and may He bless us with the Quran, Ameen.
Until next time, Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah
