Nigeria’s star comedian honored with African child prize

Francis Agoda, the Nigerian joke star has added another feather to his hat. The comedian alongside other distinguished African personalities was decorated with the 2017 African Child Prize on Friday, 26th of June. The Artist, I-Go-Die as popularly called, appreciated the African Child Prize community, thanking them for awarding him accordingly.

“The true value of the world” according to him, “is built on the standard of the child.” While acknowledging the receipt of the award, he dedicated the glory to the resilience of the Nigerian Army and other Military Forces, recognizing their sacrifices in reuniting the Chibok girls with the Nigerian community.

“I thank God Almighty for this honor and also say a big thank you to all those that voted and made it possible for me to be selected. Honestly, the true value of the world is built on the standard of the child and we all should make sacrifices to make the child safe, happy and loved.

“I dedicate this award to the Nigerian army,and Military Forces, for giving so much to protect and bringing some of the Chibok girls back, and to the many others that lost their lives in the war against terrorism. I say you are the true heroes of the African child. May God bless you all.”

Also featuring on the entertainment news this time is the report on Beyonce’s twins. The 35-year-old U.S popular singer, is reported to have put-to-bed in Los Angeles. Available reports reveal that Beyonce and Jay Z have added two to their existing one five-year-old daughter. Vanguard Newspaper reported that the Pop diva gave birth on Monday, June 12 to a set of twins of both sex.
