Peace In The Holy Land

As a Muslim who’ve been witnessing Palestinian deaths in the hands of IDF, and innocent Jewish victims from the Palestinian perpetrators, I must no longer be afraid to speak my mind on this conflict especially since it is now affecting people from all corners the of the world. I stand for peace not affiliation!

For the sake peace, survival and dignity of our Palestinian brothers and sisters, we (Muslims) must reanalyzed our long held believe about the Holy Land. From religious perspective, the Holy Quran makes it clear; Mecca belongs to Muslims and the Holy Land belongs the Jews. Furthermore, there are 57 Muslim majority nations in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and 22 nations in the Arab League.  Therefore if Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Egypt, in particular, want peace in the region, the question of the Palestinians could easily be resolved. In any case, there has to be a safe and secure Jewish Nation on a land of their ancestors because every ethnic group has a homeland on earth.

I am strongly suggesting for the entire Muslim world to jointly, officially, formally and publicly declare the State of Israel its ally and cousin that deserves all the love and acceptance from all Muslims despite past deadly relations since 1948. There are for reasons for doing this; 1) the two peoples and their religious belongings are inseparable, 2) the anti-Semites are also Islamophobes, 3) Israelis advanced science and technology working harmoniously with the youthful Arab populations and their resources would affirm utopia in the region, and 4) unfortunately the past atrocities would be dwarfed by the future ones without this formal acceptance. It is time to make Prophet Abraham, PBUH, proud and the common enemies lose all hopes. That time is now!

Please do not misinterpret this. I am not trying to answer political questions about this deadly feud. I am just quoting our Holy Quran for the sake of peace between the peoples of the Holy Land, a conflict that affects everybody in the world.

Mecca is for the followers of Quran:

The fools among the people will say: “What hath turned them from the Qibla to which they were used?” Say: To Allah belong both east and West: He guideth whom He will to a Way that is straight. 2:142

Thus, have We made of you an Ummat justly balanced, that ye might be witnesses over the nations, and the Messenger a witness over yourselves; and We appointed the Qibla to which thou wast used, only to test those who followed the Messenger from those who would turn on their heels (From the Faith). Indeed it was (A change) momentous, except to those guided by Allah. And never would Allah Make your faith of no effect. For Allah is to all people Most surely full of kindness, Most Merciful. We see the turning of thy face (for guidance to the heavens: now Shall We turn thee to a Qibla that shall please thee. Turn then Thy face in the direction of the sacred Mosque: Wherever ye are, turn your faces in that direction. The people of the Book know well that that is the truth from their Lord. Nor is Allah unmindful of what they do. So from whencesoever Thou startest forth, turn Thy face in the direction of the sacred Mosque; and wheresoever ye are, Turn your face thither: that there be no ground of dispute against you among the people, except those of them that are bent on wickedness; so fear them not, but fear Me; and that I may complete My favours on you, and ye May (consent to) be guided;2:143-4

The Holy Land is for the followers of Torah:

Remember Moses said to his people: “O my people! Call in remembrance the favour of Allah unto you, when He produced prophets among you, made you kings, and gave you what He had not given to any other among the peoples. “O my people! Enter the holy land which Allah hath assigned unto you, and turn not back ignominiously, for then will ye be overthrown, to your own ruin.” 5:20,21

Islamicly (the Deen), we are one.

Say ye: “We believe in God, and the revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Isma’il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) prophets from their Lord: We make no difference between one and another of them: And we bow to God.”  Holy Quran 2:136 #lovingforlivingintheholyland

Please chime in fairly and intellectually. Thank you!
