Hollywood star Angelina Jolie plans to visit Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh

Hollywood stunning shining star and social worker Angelina Jolie, winner of 21st Hollywood Film award, a special envoy to the United Nations High Commission for Refugee (UNHCR) planned to visit Bangladesh.

While disclosing this to the public, she condemned the mass rape and sexual violence inflicted on women, and other crimes against humanity like massive destruction, genocide under the cover of ethnic cleansing in Myanmar’s Rakhine state.

Angelina Jolie told Bangladeshi delegation in Vancouver, Canada that she planned to visit Rohingya’s camp in Cox’s Bazaar. She said on Sunday, “I strongly condemned the sexual violence imposed on women (who are seeking protection in Bangladesh) in Myanmar where a military counter-insurgency operation has sent thousands of Muslims across the border.”

She intimated in gist speech about the sexual violence faced by almost each female who fled to Bangladesh to get a shelter.

In her statement she said, “Each Rohingya’s female is facing such kind of inhumane, immoral and unethical activity against her respect, whatever the situation is, woman is the symbol of respect and dignity not of harassment, she should not be affected.”

On November 19, 2017 another senior UN official said, “Accusations of organized mass rape and other crimes against humanity are leveled at the Myanmar military.”

Pramila Patten, the special representative of UN secretary general on sexual assault in conflict said, “I will raise accusations against the Myanmar military with the International Criminal Court in Hague.”

Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Haseena Wajid said, “I strongly believe we find a peaceful solution to the unprecedented crisis with the help of International community, despite of various obstacles.”
