Juana Esperanza Soriano De-Perdomo, 61, of East 145th Street, was struck by a stray bullet at about 7:07 p.m. in front of a deli 114 East 188 Street in the Fordham Heights section.

Two groups of men got into a fight and several of them pulled out guns, police said. Someone opened fire, hitting Soriano De-Perdomo.

Police Commissioner Keechant Sewell spoke at a late-night news conference at the scene of the shooting. She said the woman was not the intended target.

Officers who responded to the shooting tried to stop the bleeding and performed CPR until medics arrived, police said.

Soriano De-Perdomo was pronounced dead at St. Barnabas Hospital.

Sewell said the NYPD would spare no resource to find the men who were involved.

“Another act of senseless violence on the streets of this city. Mindless shootings without thought or fear of the consequences,” said Sewell.

The shooting took place on the same day Sewell and Mayor Eric Adams visited the family of Kade Lewin, 12, in Brooklyn who was shot and killed while sitting in the passenger seat of a car when bullets pierced the windshield.

No arrests were made.

“All I’m asking is please come forward, please, please, somebody say something. I’m asking for justice for Kade” said Kade’s mother, Suzette Lewin.
